My last Kraftin Kimmie sneak peek before release day...

Happy Saturday and Happy Halloween! Today is the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge day, click here to go to the challenge blog to see all the DT samples- gorgeous as always! This is my last sneak peak before the Nov release on Sunday. I am using Holly- she is so elegant and lovely that I told Kimmie asap that I wanted to use her for one of my sneak peeks. I added some glitter to her flowing skirt as I imagined it being made in silk, especially with how swishy it is. I have to say I really love her outfit- I would almost travel back in time to be able to wear lovely dresses such as these. Aren't you already thinking of all the beautiful cards you could make with her!!! What I may also do at times is colour her ivy crown gold and make her into a princess- couldn't you totally see her as a princess too?? She also comes with a holly accessory stamp. Just a few more hours before you can order some of these amazing Kraftin Kimmie Nov release stamps of your own!!

So this week's challenge is to use a tag on your card- easy peasy right??? WRONG...........!!!! I have had my youngest DD home all week with the flu and we had no sleep last night and today she was extremely whiney and hungry and ever so angry her mommy wouldn't feed her because she needed to let her belly rest - it was a water only diet. So I didn't get to make this card during the afternoon like I had originally planned when I sat down with my afternoon tea. So when hubby came home and took over I went over to a friend's house for dinner and much needed girly conversation (quick shout out to V, T.K., Rae and Dee- love you girlz sooo much) and ended up getting home later than planned and still had to make a card. Luckily it came together very quickly, I used an older sketch I found on The Pink Elephant inspiration site. I coloured Holly and rushed downstairs to take a photo and back up again to edit. It was then that I went to review the challenge details and remembered she needed a tag...and I didnt' have one. So I quickly made one and added it to the card- back downstairs for photos...back upstairs for editing...and now chillaxing writing up the post lol. Now..I am new to blogger and I cannot find out how to do spell check on here so please excuse the many spelling errors I am sure I have. If anyone knows where it is on blogger please leave me a comment and let me know lol!!
I hope you enjoyed today's card and remember to hop on over to the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge blog to play along and win a stamp!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Creating with Unity- Rock On Man!!!!

**I have 2 posts today so please scroll down for my first post :)** ** Oh and click here for a chance at my blog candy...**
I am a big fan of Unity stamps..I followed their blog when it first started before they opened as they built up interest in their product and their dream. I have been hooked ever since! The Unity girls are sooo much fun from the sounds of their blogs and I now work with Jeanne on another DT which is so cool as I first noticed here doing the Unity DT hops. One of my nephews spent almost a full week this past week in the hospital with unknown severe pains and high blood pressure. He was released from the hospital one day before his 12th birthday thankfully so I whipped up this card to give to him. He is a huge guitar hero fan- and he likes the old school metal so he is dear to this auntie's heart. When I got my October KOM from Unity (I get the KOM from them each month shipped right to me door- easy peasy) I was sooo happy to get this guitar stamp. I am always looking for stamps I can use for boys that are past the cutesy animal phase. Mind you I still force cards on them with cute animals because that is my right as an aunt and worse still- I make them say they love them as I yell "I made that from scratch for you, you little punk so you better like it!!" Okay I don't yell that every time but it is nice to give a card they won't hide so their friends won't see their cute bunny card from auntie. Does anyone else make their nephew's prove that they saved the 'special' cards from their auntie?? Cause auntie gives big money in cards and it may be reduced if cards are thrown out...just sayin....I am sooo terrible lol!

What I loved about this card is that it was sooo fast to make and looked cool. I stamped right on the kraft paper and coloured it with my copics. I used my sparkle gelly pen to add some bling to the knobs. I also had these yellow arrow blings that I had kickin around and I think suit the card. I heard he liked it (he better have or else noogie ville mister!!) I hope you like my super fast and uber cool Unity card too! Cheers!!!!!

Sneak Peek Day 2- Ozzie and Harriet.....

**Click here for a chance at my cool blog candy :)**
These 2 are soooo much fun.....I love how they can skate in sync with each other. Crissy draws the most sweet images and she has outdone herself yet again with this release! This is another one of the amazing new Kraftin Kimmie stamps that will be released on Sunday. If you want to go to the store click here and you can scoop up some of this month's amazing releases while you wait :) You can see more of this month's sneak peeks by hopping around the Krafty Girls blogs- woot woot. I have a couple of friends who are huge into Christmas bears so I am defo using these cuties on their cards. Come back Saturday for another peek and this week's Krafty challenge..... Oh oh, I can't forget to mention I got the sketch for this lovely card from Jen at I heart to stamp from her weekly sketches- I love them- thanks Jen! Click here if you want to check it out!

Hey btw....did you see that cool lingo I slipped in there 'defo' instead of definitely...by golly I am getting so uber cool with this internet lingo! Schweet eh....see how I did it again?? Okay sorry back on track skating as a couple....I wanted to tell you a story about ice skating. I grew up skating. My dad would make an ice rink each year for us in the backyard so I would spend hours skating by myself doing the world's best figure 8's. There was nothing like feeling the skates gliding across the ice and having the snow falling gently around me. So fast forward to my teen years and in my city there is always an ice rink made and as teens it was so cool to hang out there and look schweet in cool scarves, mitts and with matching leg warmers (yes I was a teen in the 80's- no regrets baby). You would coolly glide up to the concession booth, get a hot chocolate and skate around while sipping  your cocoa and the tunes would be blaring. Oh I tried so hard..yes I did but it never failed.... I would hit a rut in the ice and tumble whenever the cute boy was around. **sigh** To this day whenever I try to act cool I end up tripping, spilling something on my shirt or my favourite choking on my own saliva. Phew....I feel so good getting that story off my chest lol. So remember when you are skating and trying to act cool, if you trip and fall in front of the cute boy it has happened to all of us. And that's the moral of this story.......

Sneaky Peeky of a Nov Kraftin Kimmie stamp

Here is my second sneak peek of the Nov release of Kraftin Kimmie stamps being released this coming Sunday! This is Piper (aka Andrea cause she is always carrying around a hot cuppa just like me lol). There is a huge sentiment set being released again this month and I chose Holiday Cheer for this card. I figured it could mean 'best wishes during the season' or......for my friends....'holiday cheer is booze in a traveler' tee hee. This could be any of my friends with their hot chocolate and bailey's. I certainly would not be one to judge them....they can be sweet to sip on while enjoying sledding or skating...yummmmm. **Now remember no drinky and driving** Just a quick public service announcement :) This card will also be one of the Nov copic class cards at SGD. The supplies are all from Scrappingreatdeals (SGD to me) and the paper is new from Imaginisce. It is quite delicious and it suits Kraftin Kimmie's Nov releases very well. I encourage you to hop on over to all the Kraftin Kimmie girlz blogs to enjoy their sneak peeks as well and come back tomorrow for more!!!
