Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar ChildrenMiss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It was a very good book at in the beginning I was confused as to whether this was based on actual children..at least some of them. Can't say anything more so that I don't give away what inspired the book but it is very interesting! I think I found the info online if you want to search it.

Very compelling read right from the start. Jacob falls in love with his Grandpa's stories and to him they are true but as he grows older he doubts the validity of these sensational people really existing which seems to sadden his Grandpa. Then one day everything changes and he questions all he has ever known.

I did have trouble with the ending...I hope another book is written as I felt it ended abruptly and left me feeling unresolved.
